About a month later, we check back in to make sure the changes stuck and answer any new questions.

The discovery call is a paid session ($500), so you get real advice from the very first meeting, and you leave with useful findings whether or not you continue. If you go ahead with an assessment, the full fee is credited toward it.

Why I started Cortex

Most security help is built for big companies with IT teams. Families, executives and small businesses get a pile of jargon, or nothing at all.

I served 10 years in the U.S. Army, then built a career in cybersecurity at companies including Prudential Financial and Duke Energy. Cortex is how I bring that same level of care home: one person who learns your life, fixes what matters, and picks up when you call.
